Add a repairability score to listings in certain categories when selling in France
Hello,
Providing your buyers with as much information as possible about your items is essential for selling successfully on eBay.
When you sell certain products in France, listings must now show a repairability score in order to comply with the current regulations.
At present, the repairability score applies to the following categories (although this list may change):
- Front-loading washing machines
- Smartphones
- Laptops
- Televisions
- Electric lawnmowers
- Top-loading washing machines
- Dishwashers
- Vacuum cleaners
- Pressure washers
The repairability score helps buyers understand how easy it will be to maintain or repair a product. It ranges from 1 to 10, where 1 means not very repairable and 10 means highly repairable, and it will be displayed in your listing near the item price. Contact your supplier to find out the repairability score of your products.
You can add the repairability score to your listings quickly and easily during listing creation. Learn more on our help page.
Remember that these rules apply to items you sell in France, regardless of your country of registration.
As always, thanks for selling on eBay.
