Update: uploading energy efficiency labels and product information sheets in PDF format
If you sell eligible energy-related products in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you are required to include energy labeling and product performance information in your listings. This includes products such as household appliances, light sources, smartphones and tablets, and tires. This information helps buyers make informed purchasing decisions and ensures your listings comply.
When you create or edit your eligible listings, you can now upload the energy efficiency label and the product information sheet in PDF format or image format in the Item warnings section. Previously, it was only possible to upload them in image format.
What you need to do
● Upload the energy efficiency label and the product information sheet in PDF or image format
● PDF files must not exceed 10 MB
● Check that listings with no expiration date include the required energy labeling information. Since these are older listings, they may need to be updated to meet compliance requirements
● Include the correct energy efficiency information for eligible products
● If you manage your listings through a third-party provider, check directly with them how to upload the energy efficiency label and product information sheet in PDF or image format.
