The CCD Directive applies to all professional sellers offering electronic products subject to the regulation, such as:
- mobile phones
- tablets
- digital cameras
- other rechargeable electronic devices
The directive will come into force for products first placed on the EU or Northern Ireland market starting December 28, 2024 (for laptops, the expected date is April 28, 2026).
