Protect yourself from phishing attempts
We are seeing an increase in phishing emails targeting online buyers and sellers. Some of these messages are very convincing and can be hard to identify as phishing attempts.
To keep protecting your account and your data, we recommend that you:
Check links before clicking on them.
Never enter sensitive or confidential information on external websites.
Always check the website address when a page asks you to enter personal data.
Never authorize other people to access your eBay account.
If in doubt, contact eBay directly to verify the legitimacy of the request.
If you want to report a suspicious email claiming to be from eBay, you can forward it as an attachment to: spoof@ebay.com.

Thank you for helping keep your account safe.
