We are updating the Terms of Use for payment services
Hello,
With the goal of making our terms clear and our services easy to use, we are letting you know that we are updating our Terms of Use for Payment Services, and the changes will take effect starting September 23, 2024. We are making these changes to more fully reflect the payment services we offer. In the section dedicated to the Use of Payment Services, we now communicate more transparently the fee expected for Seller Registration and specify which eBay company is responsible for Seller Protection. In addition, we have changed and clarified the terms set out in section III.7 regarding payment methods (by invoice, in installments, by direct debit), without making any changes to the terms themselves.
If you agree to these changes, no action is required on your part. If, as a user, you do not accept the changes mentioned above, you can reject them at any time, in writing (for example by email), by September 23, 2024. Alternatively, you can suspend the payment processing agreement free of charge and without notice. This is possible by sending us a message by email or contacting customer service. Otherwise, consent to these changes will be deemed given.
Thank you for being part of the eBay Community.
