Broken phone
Good morning, I bought a Sony phone from a German reseller in March as a gift. When it arrived on March 17, I turned it on to check that it worked and then put it back in the box, since I was supposed to give it as a present this month on 6/7. Today I was told that the phone works, it turns on, but it does not recognize any SIM card from any carrier. I wrote to the reseller and am waiting for a reply. I know there are 30 days for returns, but are there any other protections regarding this? What can I do?

·3 years agoIf the 30 days have passed, you can appeal to the protection of the payment method you used.
So a dispute on the PayPal site within 180 days of payment, or a chargeback through the credit card issuer within a year of payment.

·3 years agoYou have 30 days from the moment you receive the item to open a claim for an item not as described.

So I recommend following this procedure.
