Why aren't we selling? What's working against us?
Summary: vonbalden pone una pregunta sobre las razones por las que no están teniendo éxito en las ventas y qué factores podrían estar obstaculizándolos.
Those who ask the user community for help usually start from the assumption that they’ll be given an answer that somehow satisfies them and sets a workable change in motion. When the person replying, (who may very well not be all that interested in the category of the person asking for advice) gives their opinion critically, it’s easy for tempers to flare. What happens in this case? The wait for feedback soon turns into a carousel of pointless back-and-forth. It’s important to keep in mind that, since these are free opinions, not given by a paid expert in buying or selling dynamics, they should all be assessed without prejudice. Then behind the scenes you can take into consideration what, from the outside, may well be true. It’s the best way to get your thoughts straight. As I see it, putting myself in the shoes of a numismatics observer, what bothers me is the description of the behavior that, after the fact, is suggested to the buyer after the purchase. I feel an inner voice welling up that says: wow, tell me more about that coin, that one in the second row! I know that if I take two I pay for one shipping, but....that coin! Tell me what you know, I’m all ears! Don’t ignore me if I send you a message. Talk to me about that minting as if Charlize Theron herself were asking you, you get it?
Involve the buyer ! Amaze him ! An English seller I know used to tell me.
