Cheated by the client
Good morning, I’m new to the community, even though I’ve been selling on Ebay for almost 3 years, I had never had any reason or bad luck to write about one of my mishaps,
I should point out that the dispute was closed in favor of the customer and we had already put the episode out of our minds.
I just wanted to tell my mishap and make EBAY understand that the customer should not always be the one protected.
Anyway.... "the lady" buys a pajama set, size 52.
After 3/4 days she sends me the item back for the wrong size, I read it and accept without hesitation, wrong size, sent 48.
I go to check and see that size 48 was available on the shelf, 52 was not, I check the management system and see that size 52 was taken off stock.
Realizing that the numbers didn’t add up, I asked the customer for a photo of the side tag that I apply to my products. When I made the request, the customer started insulting me and swearing. The fact is that the customer never sent me this photo.
To make a long story short, Ebay sided with the customer, I had to refund the pajama set, pay for the shipping, and one came back to the store that wasn’t mine, where naturally there was no side tag that I apply to my products to indicate that the product was mine.
What do you think?
Thanks(quick rant)
In conclusion

·3 years agoGood evening, first of all you have all my sympathy, because these things should not happen on a site like eBay whether the scammer is a buyer or a seller.
Unfortunately, they can happen online. but it seems to me they’re happening often. I think eBay should invest more, increase the human workforce in its customer support service, make it easier to contact its employees by phone, and reduce the handling of simple automated processes run by algorithms that shoot from the hip and plow ahead without being able to weigh and assess, as a human being would, the various situations.
In your case, if you also have the management system that shows the shipment of the size 52 pajamas, try appealing and explaining what happened, because it could be that eBay reconsiders the dispute. Contact support by phone and point out the messages in which you asked for photos of the label that the buyer refused to provide, explain about the management system, etc. etc. in short, provide all the useful elements to support your case.
I hope you can get to the bottom of it and we would be happy to know how the situation develops.
Have a good evening.

·3 years agoGood morning casadelbiancocarelli
I'm sorry about what happened.
I recommend that you contact eBay and explain what happened, and ask them to send a report to the buyer.
The buyer must ABSOLUTELY be reported because that way there is a greater chance they will be removed from eBay.
When you received the return, did you try to appeal by explaining what happened?
Try appealing because sometimes eBay also reimburses the seller if the amounts are small.
Best regards.

·3 years agoThat when selling online it happens... apparently quite often too... if you have concrete evidence you can only report it to the competent authorities.
Sorry about what happened.
A kind regards.

OP3 years agoWe’re not the kind of people who make things up; of course I have the proof: the purchase invoice for 1 pair of pajamas per size, physical stock in the shop with one pajama item that doesn’t match the quantity purchased.
I still believe that in life you’ll end up finding what you’ve sown

·3 years agoI agree, but by "concrete" I meant practical evidence... it will be very complicated to explain the issue of physical stock availability to ebay through an appeal.
I'm only saying this from experience, but there's no harm in trying...
Kind regards.

OP3 years agoHello Sika, I would also like to thank everyone else who replied to me.
I certainly have the proof, purchase invoice, items in stock, management system with sale date, but I don't think it's necessary to do anything else. Mine was just a vent, not about the sale I lost; I felt TAKEN FOR A RIDE by a B.....T who, besides playing the size game, also attacked me with insults and abuse.
As I said before, I HOPE THAT ALL THE EVIL AND MALICE THESE CUNNING, NASTY PEOPLE CAUSE WILL COME BACK TO THEM.
I try to be as fair as possible, always available both to solve problems and to always please the customer.
If they took action I'm happy, if they didn't it's fine with me too, anyway it's all in the past now.
Thanks to everyone for understanding and good business to all
