Hello everyone, I wanted to ask if it would be safe to buy new iPhones at competitive prices from sellers who have lots of positive feedback and who allow PayPal to be used as the payment method. Are positive feedback and the use of PayPal a sign of security? Many thanks to anyone who responds.

The iPhone is an item that follows market prices, and even in auctions it always reaches figures close to the current market price because there is a lot of demand for these items.
If this iPhone can be sold at auction, for example, for 900 euros, and therefore the market price is roughly around that level, you won't find a professional seller so careless that they sell it at a significantly lower price.
If that were to happen, you need to see whether the phone is actually new or whether it has been refurbished.
Maybe using components that are not original Apple ones, like the display or something else...
Let's say that sellers ARE TRYING because maybe out of 10 phones sold they get only 1 return.
In any case, if the item should turn out not to match the description, you can open a complaint case with eBay for item not as described.

Ask the seller any questions you think are useful.
If you see that they don't respond or are evasive / dodgy, avoid them....

You also need to make sure where the phone comes from, if the seller is Chinese, you won't have any kind of guarantee in case, in the future, you need assistance.
