Buying a postcard from the USA, should I be worried about getting hit with taxes and customs fees?

Good morning,

I would like to buy a postcard from an American seller. The value is around ten euros plus shipping indicated at about 4 euros. I asked the seller whether there are taxes and customs fees and he said yes, but he was not able to quantify the amount for me.

Do you think it would be worth buying, or do I risk the 10 euros becoming an EXORBITANT amount?

If you have the "luck" that the seller sent it to you as correspondence, of course you won't pay anything.
But if they only filled out a customs declaration, unfortunately yes...
And, in short, 22% VAT on the total of 14 euros plus Poste's fixed fee of about 3 euros.
