As they already told you, only the seller can cancel an order; as the buyer, you can only request it from them.
The seller is not obliged to cancel, and if payment has already been made, they also lose the fixed eBay fee costs. This is also why it is recommended to buy only if you are genuinely interested, since transactions on eBay are binding contracts for both parties.
If you still haven’t paid and the seller doesn’t reply, after 4 days if you pay eBay will step in, and you will get 1 warning as a non-paying user. The more warnings you accumulate, the more restrictions you will have on your eBay account.

·3 years agoI repeat, YOU (as the buyer) CANNOT cancel orders on ebay.
Only sellers, if they want to, can cancel orders.

·3 years agoHow did you cancel an order?
You need to contact the seller and ask them that you want to cancel an order.
Click on the blue button you find by opening this link:

·3 years agoAs a buyer on ebay, you can't cancel orders. Not even ebay can do it.
You can only ask the seller if they can accommodate you. Ebay will only reply if the seller accepts your cancellation request.
