Change the address for a return
hello, I bought an item and had it delivered to my aunt's place, I need to return it because it has a problem but I can't have the courier go to the address where I had the order delivered (my aunt's house) I'd like to have it come to my house or even go to a pickup point myself and hand it in, is that possible? if so how? or if I want to make a return do I have to do it at the address where the item was delivered? thanks a lot

·1 year agoIf you contact the seller, they certainly won’t help you for obvious reasons.
According to eBay’s rules, if you opened a case for an item not as described, the seller is responsible for the return label and must enter the address provided by eBay.
The address provided by eBay is the one you entered at the time of purchase.
If instead it is a return because you changed your mind and you have to pay for the shipping yourself, you can also enter a different address as the sender.
If you manage to get a postal shipping label generated, or another shipment that you can drop off at a collection point, you can take the item directly to the post office or to the collection point, so in that case it doesn’t matter much that the sender is your aunt.

·1 year agoHello,
if the return is at the seller's expense, you need to contact them... but usually the pickup address for the return is always the same as the delivery address.
Kind regards.

·1 year agoIf the item does not match the order, the return label must be provided by the seller, you can arrange with them to get it with pickup from a collection point.
If, on the other hand, the problem is yours and you want to return the item because you changed your mind, the label is at your expense and you can ship it however you want.

·1 year agoYou can use any kind of tracked shipping, so go to the post office and send it to the address ebay gave you. On the sender address, put the one where you received the package.
Then enter the return code in the ebay procedure.
