Counterfeit Seresto Collar
Summary: The discussion concerns the issue of counterfeit Seresto collars. vonbalden raised the issue, and daxsisko responded to the proposed problem. However, the specific details of the discussion were not provided.
The Seresto flea collar for dogs is a health product created by the German pharmaceutical company Bayer, now marketed by Elanco Animal Healt. If the collar is indeed counterfeit, it is completely pointless to deal with the seller, who will try to reduce the damage of the refund by convincing the dissatisfied user, unaware of the site's rules, to keep it. A return request must be opened through eBay for item not as described. In this specific case, a cheap copy of the original. Nowadays, it is not easy to sell original items with a decent profit margin. The problem is tried to be solved by using counterfeits, playing on the attractive price and on the average consumer who (sad to say) in many cases only needs the overused word ORIGINAL to feel satisfied.

often unfortunately, without indicating ORIGINAL, even the brand/name of the product can mislead the distracted buyer: to give an example it may be labeled Se Resto (.... alive.... ), perhaps accompanied by logos and packaging similar to the original..... a bit like the CE mark ( China Export ) compared to the European C E mark
