However, I still haven't received the October €50 free coupon as a seller, and I can't reuse the money from the sale for a purchase also on eBay using the coupon.
Is this normal?
Considering that I also wrote to eBay (shake phone) to ask for clarification more than 24 hours ago without having received any replies yet, as a novice seller approaching eBay, I consider it to be a bad experience so far.
Can you help me understand?

OP11 months agoFinally, I’d like to add that the only ones who replied to me were you from the eBay community, and I thank you.
The €50 coupon then arrived without warning last week and I immediately used it, still on the eBay platform, however without being able to use the selling credit, which according to eBay policy is the two weeks as a new seller.
A single official email from eBay would have been enough for me (which I asked for but never received) stating the operational steps to receive the coupon and about the credit not being usable right away for an urgent purchase.

·11 months agoThe one on October 2 wasn't your first sale... you sold the same item on September 25 too... so you're most likely outside the promotion.

OP11 months agoHello good morning, the first “buyer” DID NOT pay for the product and kept the sale blocked for days even after my requests to unblock it.
the next customer bought the product right away, but rightly, according to eBay rules, the money was only credited to me now after 2 weeks.

·1 year agoThe complimentary coupon with a new seller of 50 euros, I suppose, should be related to the purchase of some product.
But if that’s not the case, please specify the terms and conditions as well, because we regular forum responders can’t have / see this coupon.
If it’s a discount coupon for buying an item on eBay, you should have the relevant code to enter at the time of purchase (but that’s not necessarily the case).
As for receiving payments, you have to wait at least 14 days.

OP1 year agoThanks for your kind reply, it’s a coupon worth €50 as a gift for having sold a product on eBay (in my case €450 in sales)
I’m not saying I want the money from the sale immediately in my IBAN, but at least to be able to manage this money right away for a purchase+coupon since it has guaranteed financial "coverage".
In the message center, complete silence... not even a heads-up that a coupon is coming.
What am I supposed to say at this point?
I’ll wait patiently for something to fall from the sky of recognized value, given the platform’s complete lack of communication on eBay 😄

·1 year agoFor new or infrequent sellers, the money from the first sales is credited after about 15 days, as per the rules.
Most likely the voucher will follow the same process; in any case, through "Help and contacts" you can have eBay call you at the phone number you entered when registering.

OP1 year agoThanks for your kind reply, actually I wrote from my phone while shaking it and choosing the option (other) since the Coupon wasn't being considered.
To this day I haven't had a response.
