Billing from eBay sellers
I’m not a seller, I have a VAT number and I would like to buy on eBay and receive the invoice without VAT when the seller is abroad. I registered as a business, but when it comes time to buy I’m always shown the price including VAT.
When I buy on Amazon, it happens automatically
Is it possible to do it on eBay too?
thanks

·2 years agoIt may not be made for professionals, but I see that many companies sell on Ebay
So that means that companies that register can only issue invoices but not receive them, okay, thanks

·2 years agoEbay is designed only for end consumers, so C2C and B2C, not for transactions between companies, B2B.
It doesn't have an equivalent of Amazon Business.

OP2 years agoThanks,
You can register as a company, but maybe that only applies to sales invoices and possibly to invoices received from Packlink.
Anyway, Amazon doesn’t issue the invoices, the individual sellers do; if they’re Italian, I receive the electronic one, if they’re foreign, I download it and issue a self-invoice.
Could it be that I’m the only one who wants to buy on eBay and download the invoices related to my work, for accounting.

·2 years agoOn Amazon you’ll have registered with a business account and you’ll only make purchases with that account... Amazon is diversified, it’s not unique like eBay.
They are two different worlds, eBay isn’t made for professionals, so if it doesn’t work for you, keep going on Amazon... also because, as Mario already said, on eBay you can’t register with a professional account just for purchases.
A kind regards.

·2 years agoEbay is not like Amazon, it doesn't sell directly.
So you need to find the foreign seller who can issue you an invoice without VAT and agree with them before making the purchase.
I also didn't understand how you managed to register as a business account, if you don't sell anything.
