buyer feedback
Happy spring day to everyone
I noticed that last month a buyer to whom I sold some centenarian pumpkins, although leaving me positive feedback, left the following comment: “ I hope they turn out to be small ”.
Considering that my wife also tells me something like that from time to time, I don’t know whether I should be worried, what do you think?
Thanks everyone for the help, if all else fails I’ll ask support.

·1 year agoIf you really want to give it a shot.....You can try appealing the feedback, specifying that it is a positive comment with a “negative” content, which isn’t entirely true but isn’t entirely false either.
If you sell seeds you can expect unflattering comments since a lot depends on the skill and experience of whoever sows them.
Too much water, too little water, too cold, too deep, not deep enough, etc.
I had sown some broad beans that came from Africa that were huge (very large seeds) but they came out as ordinary broad beans of traditional size.
Because I think it depends on the climate zone, the type of soil, how it was worked, whether it is rich, etc.

·1 year agoOnce I received positive feedback with this comment: Ikon 35 Contessa camera, excellent, but sadly the selenium light meter is dead. It was true. The light meter had breathed its last during the function test. The camera was from 1954. Daxsisko rightly suggests not wasting time on clarification with support. Completely useless. But if I were in ortiurbani's shoes, tonight in the big bed at home with my hands behind my head, I would do some further digging. These Central American squashes, also called spiny squashes because of their white spike-like fibers, have the characteristic of being big. Up to twenty cm. in size. Why are mine so small? Whoever looks at them has to know them. Better check. As the king of salesmen said in his book: never sell anything you don't know perfectly first.😊

OP1 year ago20? No, 15, they were all like that... I've been growing them for ages, I don't sell the small ones.. I think I'll take some photos with a lighter or a pack of cigarettes next to them and maybe I'll remove the astronaut, because it actually makes them look way too huge in his hands -.-"

·1 year agoif you’re referring to deleting / revising the feedback: in this case I think it’s a waste of time to ask for it (unless you want to see for yourself how Ebay support handles these cases......) since they expressed a simple doubtful opinion (which, frankly, they could have avoided....... ) and anyway the comment gets lost among the various positive reviews you’ve received so far
in any case, even if a potential buyer read it, I doubt it would put them off buying if they’re interested in your products...
