Feedback not received from sellers!
Feedback not received from sellers! It's not the first time this has happened to me. If Ebay doesn't step in, as a buyer I'll adopt the same system, no more feedback!

·1 year agoVery interesting. Since the sellers don’t care even though they get the money upfront, from now on I’ll leave neutral feedback. Good sales to everyone.

·1 year agoInteresting: so you'll leave the seller neutral feedback just because he didn't leave you positive feedback 2 seconds after you paid him?
Good luck!

As a seller, I NEVER leave feedback first, and I also specified this in the auction so buyers like you are at least aware.
Why don't I ever leave feedback first as a seller?
1) because most buyers don't reciprocate
2) because my feedback can only be positive
When I’m the buyer, on the other hand, I leave it first myself, without however pressuring the seller by urging them to reciprocate my feedback, since this action / option is COMPLETELY OPTIONAL and at the DISCRETION OF THE SELLER / BUYER.
Best regards.

OP1 year agoAt this point I need to be the one to leave feedback first, and I should add that eBay prompts me to do it!

·1 year agoGood morning
eBay prompts for it and despite this I usually receive, out of 10 sales, maybe 1 or 2 feedbacks.
I’d also add that there are professional sellers who:
- Leave feedback first right away as soon as the buyer purchases and pays for the item.
or
- Leave feedback right after (automatically) receiving it from the buyer.
Kind regards.

·1 year agoFor some time now, feedback has lost its original meaning/value and has become a weapon of blackmail and/or denigration.
Examples of this are the various Trustpilot, Tripadvisor, etc., etc.: a satisfied user is unlikely to leave positive feedback, while they will certainly do so if they have something to complain about.
For this reason, many sellers have enabled the option to leave feedback only when the customer has done the same (also because sellers cannot leave negative feedback).
So your theory is partly correct: if you don't leave me feedback, it means you don't even care about receiving it...

OP1 year agoNeed I always leave feedback first, and on top of that eBay regularly reminds me to do it!
