The seller changed their name after shipping my PS5 and other suspicious activity
I ordered a PS5 on the 18th, which according to the listing should be new, but with the box opened only because they had to change the thermal paste since it had been sitting in the warehouse of a shop that has now closed. That already seemed a bit suspicious to me, but I ordered it anyway. The estimated delivery period is from August 21 to 27.
They shipped it yesterday, the 21st. The listing said they would ship with a specific courier company (BRT), but instead they used another one (Poste) with no tracking, so I have no idea where my package is.
Today they also changed the account name and all the reviews and other listings disappeared. Which is pretty suspicious.
Luckily I paid with PayPal and as far as I know they always side with the buyer, but I came here to find out if there’s anything else I can do to protect myself from a possible scam. Thanks.
