I’m making everyone aware of what happened to me, maybe I’ll help others avoid the same problem
I bought a service kit by providing a photocopy of the vehicle registration document
Checked the contents by eye, I waited for the right moment to fit it, left positive feedback
Fitted the kit, the car broke down after two days.
Took it to the garage, found a problem with the kit’s spark plugs, 1 cm longer.
Replaced and paid 98 for new spark plugs and diagnosis
LUCKILY THEY DIDN’T BLOW THROUGH THE PISTONS
I pointed out the problem to the seller, I’m only asking for a refund of 98e
not considering the car being out of service or the problems of getting it to the garage.
I was expecting at least an apology, but not to be taken for a ride.
They offered to replace the kit

All the more so since it’s a big seller
not even changing the positive feedback I left

·2 weeks agoAfter the 17 days had passed, you couldn’t ask for a return because you changed your mind, but you could still ask for a return for non-conformity of what you received.
The problem is the EU regulation that voids the warranty when the purchased material is installed by a third party not directly authorized by the seller. To have the installer’s legal guarantee, he must be the one to buy the material.

I’m not a third party, maybe a second one..
I installed the required material, with the vehicle registration document, as suitable
for my vehicle.
What they sent me put the existence of my vehicle and the people being transported at risk.
I don’t think Europe deals with this, maybe the law does
EBAY doesn’t deal with it.
When you ask for reimbursement of the minimum out-of-pocket expenses, it’s for a minimum moral recognition. I’m NOT a Big eBay seller but I can do without 100e. They should be more concerned about what happened,
or maybe it’s the rule
I’ve seen many shipping errors in the feedback of the big seller.

When you removed the old spark plugs, didn't you notice they weren't the same??
