·1 year agoYou can't be protected by paying off-platform with the fateful Bank transfer, that's a given, but to make sure the potential buyer falls into the trap, you need a minimal strategy. Let's look at it for a moment: I stop to look at a 15-euro stuffed bunny made in China with a little Easter egg around its neck. I think to myself, I like this. After observing it for exactly 32 seconds, I receive a purchase proposal from the seller 'Nonstoconlemaniinmano64'. But I ignore the proposal (otherwise the seller is bound to my purchase on ebay) and decide to send him a message along these lines: If you give me 10 euros, I'll buy everything. The seller agrees in exchange for payment by bank transfer and I spend Easter waiting for the bunny made in Canton. But something doesn't add up. Why should I ignore ebay's warning when I reply to the message ? Why should I send a message to Nonstoconlemaniinmano for a miserly discount ? Does he sign up every time just to wait for a message from someone and then propose the transaction off the site ? And then disappear every time ? And with those who pay the offer on the site he doesn't ship anything because he vanished ? It sounds like a Ridolini comedy, so there is something I'm missing. I also sometimes receive lowball offers. When I reply that I accept, and I change the listing price for 10 minutes from that moment on, I no longer hear any replies. What am I missing ?

So you made two purchases on ebay that did not go through?
If you paid for both by bank transfer, know that you are not protected by ebay and cannot receive assistance.

·1 year agoif you paid the seller directly by bank transfer ( that is, without going through Ebay payment )........ maybe it's right not to make any more purchases..... for the simple fact that it was NOT understood how Ebay works....

You made a payment outside the eBay procedure, so I'd say support can't help you.
If, on the other hand, you paid through the eBay platform, once the indicated time has passed, you can easily report the item as "not received" and start the guided procedure.
