Subject with non-fictional part written in the description
Hello everyone,
I wanted some information since I recently started buying and selling on eBay
I bought a MacBook, but in the description apart from a few scratches it was listed as perfect for any use, but as soon as I unplug the charger it turns off and this wasn’t mentioned. Could someone tell me what this is like and what I can do?

From the description, it looks like a problem with the battery, which seems to be deteriorated.
If it's an old notebook, it's likely that the seller didn't even realize the problem, maybe because they had decided to sell the notebook, which had meanwhile been sitting unused for years.
Old lithium batteries have a fair amount of self-discharge (an increase in internal resistance) which can bring them down to zero volts if they aren't recharged for months or years; if the voltage drops too much, they deteriorate and are damaged beyond repair.
That said, it's clear that the item you received does not match the description.
So you can decide whether to contact the seller, explain the problem, and get reimbursed for the cost of a new battery.

The seller has to pay the return shipping costs.
So they have to provide you with a shipping label to stick on the package, or they have to pay for the shipping.
