Item not received, only partial refund issued... scam?
I bought some electronic components in the UK that, after a month, never arrived. No tracking information was given, not even upon request, claiming it was "Royal Mail Shipping" without tracking, so untraceable (and in my opinion that's not true, since another similar shipment did in fact have tracking). I then opened a dispute for an item not received, and the seller immediately issued only a partial refund, without me being able to agree or not. But this way I might think that if the guy can issue direct partial refunds without them being able to be accepted or not, he can freely scam people by pretending to send the goods and thus keep a large part of the money paid in his pocket...right?

OP3 years agoNever mind, on the refund it says "Partial refund" but actually (when calculated in euros, since the currency is pounds) it was refunded in full. Thanks eBay, for putting misleading titles on payments... meh!!

·3 years agoEbay does not list partial titles... it is the buyer who must be aware of the fact that extra-EU purchases are "victims" of exchange rate fees (non-refundable) and any non-refundable import charges directly...
