Why is the purchase history still there even after 2 years?

I knew that in Ebay's purchase history orders disappeared after 2 years, yet on one of my accounts I still have the details of orders from 2018 and 2019!

how is that possible? maybe because I only made 5?

There was a time when fans of tea at 5 o'clock, that is, the salon dwellers who exchanged daily

opinions and assorted topics in the lounge, could go back as far as 5 years earlier, leafing

through page after page in search of that certain post. Then suddenly, everything was stopped, leaving the lounge

shocked and furious. It was only one of the many changes made to the system, which certainly did not include only the diversion section. There was a general stampede and many of the sellers or buyers who at the time

populated eBay disappeared for good within a few months. An acquaintance from that distant time is pixgr himself, the author of the mysterious 'doll' that we all read with pleasure. The point is... why change ? Even asking users to give their consent or not. Not only here. Everywhere. As soon as something meets with the public's favor, it is removed or changed. It is a law without borders that the best consumer psychology experts have investigated. If you like it, I'll take it away right away. The imperative is to adapt. Always. Preferably with a good dose of Cayenne pepper in the buttocks. Because everything must be changed as quickly as possible. To be ready for the next detestable change.

I hadn’t noticed, but I can confirm that purchases from 2017 onward are now visible, before only those from the current year and the previous 2 were visible.

My guess is that many users, for various reasons, wanted to go back to purchases made more than 2 years ago and probably asked support to be able to view further back than 2 years, and I’m sure they told eBay support agents: "on Amazon I can see everything from my first purchase!!" 😂🤣😂🤣

Here on the forum, some users often asked how they could see back beyond 2 years and were always rightly told to contact support.

I assume the number of requests was significant enough to make them change the purchase history settings.......and I think this is one of the few times users have been listened to, if only they’d done it for more important things!!! 😂🤣😂🤣
