Why does it reset my password?

it's been about two weeks that ebay keeps sending me an email saying the password has been reset and more than once I've changed it, after 2/3 hours the email arrives right away and it resets the password. I tried setting up verification through authenticator and 2-factor but it keeps doing the same thing. I also logged out from all possible devices and changed the password right away but it's always the same story. I should point out that I didn't click any suspicious link from any email. I always checked on the official site whether the password had actually been reset and it was always like that
