Display issues in "My eBay"
Hi everyone. For a few weeks now I’ve been having problems with displaying purchases on my page. Until then I used to see, under the items I keep an eye on, the latest orders, say from 30 or 60 days ago, etc., with the relative drop-down menu. If I then hid the order, it disappeared and that was that, everything in order. As I said though, now I’m having some problems. The drop-down menu now refers to purchases from 2023, 2022, 2021, etc... but it’s really inconvenient! Orders from years ago have “come back to the surface” and I have to hide them one by one if necessary! Is it a problem on my end or not? How can I fix it? Thanks

·2 years agoI also used to get on really well with the old graphical interfaces when tablets and smartphones didn’t exist yet and we still used the mouse.
But especially when the users who used these tools were “selected” users.
Some sites already use virtual assistants because they’ve realized that users are no longer able to navigate the menus and get stuck at the first difficulty.
They write to the virtual assistant, which guides them step by step or gives them the direct link where they need to click.
If you look around, it’s like that everywhere now........
By now it’s pointless to keep changing the interfaces all the time; they only create hassle for users, who have to keep adapting to new ways of using things.
But in the end it doesn’t change anything because most users still aren’t able to use any tool that involves submenus.
They’d do better to leave things as they are and put a virtual assistant on eBay’s site.
We’d save ourselves the effort of having to keep learning new ways of using it every 6 months.
eBay would save itself a ton of work from having to redo the interfaces, the navigation paths, the ways of using things, etc.
Anyway, nothing changes because eBay is a complex system, you can’t make it simple, users need an assistant and since a real assistant costs money, a virtual assistant is used to help and guide them.
Kind regards.

·2 years agosika700 had already answered, and usually I don't go parroting things on the forum with redundant posts.
I simply took the cue to put forward a point I felt like expressing at that moment.
I would like to point out that:
1) We are not eBay operators, but users like you.
2) we are not paid
3) we have no constraints regarding protocols to follow other than those of respect and good manners (see netiquette rules)
So sometimes I like being on the forum just to express my own ideas.
I'm sorry you had to strain to read my "USELESS" post, and that you'll have to strain to read this other "USELESS" post of mine 😎
Kind regards.

·2 years agoYou can’t fix it... eBay has changed the display format.
If you don’t like it, you’ll find the link "Tell us what you think" at the top right.
You can complain there...
Kind regards.
