Good morning guys, info between professional and private sellers
Good morning to all of you, my friends, I wanted to ask something. But is it possible as a private seller to stay on the first page of eBay for more than 10 days with a private seller listing? I'd like to know more about this world

·3 years agoGood morning, yes it’s true that you’re selling used bags, but since there are quite a few listings and if you keep selling continuously you could fall into the situation specified by marioelegio in his last message.
It’s true that your profile is new and it’s clear that you’ve only been selling for a short time, but if you already describe yourself as a little shop in the description (which is nice and understandable), you’ll understand that over time, more than a private seller, you’d fall into the professional category with all the obligations that come with it. On top of that, if you sponsor the listings, you emphasize the organized and regular nature of the sales. If you want to get a bit more visibility, slightly increase the price of the item and offer free shipping (instead of putting 5-6 euros for shipping, raise the product price by 3-4 euros), since listings with free shipping usually have greater visibility.

·3 years agoIf it falls within our capabilities, in my opinion an answer to the question should still be provided.
Then it’s up to him to choose whether it’s worth getting compliant right away or postponing it until a later date.

You need to use promoted listings.

·3 years agoThe problem is that sponsorship doesn’t legally go along with his private account.
When the transfer of items takes place in a habitual, organized, continuous, and systematic manner, it generates a true business income. There are no exceptions even for second-hand goods; for VAT purposes, a special regime is предусмотрed for the sale of used goods (the so-called “margin scheme”) and ad hoc rules are also provided for electronic commerce.
Putting up sponsored ads further highlights the organized and habitual nature of the sales, a real self-incrimination.
I could sponsor the sale of my car, because it’s still an occasional sale of one of my private assets, but I can’t sponsor an ongoing sale of a shop of used bags.

·3 years agoIf someone calls themselves the little shop of .... with a sign to sell used bags, they can’t be a private seller. If they’re also running sponsored listings.......
On a private account you can’t display your VAT number, but if you don’t display it you risk serious penalties.
