Search in Purchased Items
Sorry, but,
is it correct to say that the search box among purchased items doesn’t work and finds nothing?
I mean: For each purchased item, for various reasons, I have a list of order numbers related to the purchased item.
Today I searched, among the purchased items, entering in the box the exact order number of an item purchased in March 2023.
It doesn’t find anything.
I tried with the item number: nothing.
I searched for "Monitor" (I buy a lot of monitors), nothing.
What is it for?
But above all, why does entering the order number in the format "xx-xxxxx-xxxxx" not find anything?

·3 years agoOn the purchases page, the orders placed in the last 60 days are shown by default.
If in the dropdown menu you don't select the full year 2023, it's normal that an order from early March won't be shown... not... not found!
I just tried it, and with a generic name the order is found.
Best regards.

OP3 years agoYes, Sika, of course.
But there are people, like me, who might buy 100 items a year across different categories.
And each item individually might need to be associated with a customer... and the most obvious thing is to indicate the eBay order number for the item, which is unique for each purchase and should be associated with a customer.
If the search doesn't work by order number, it's basically useless, in cases of professional eBay use like I do.

·3 years agoGood morning akuz
as an "alternative" you can use the search engine of the email account corresponding to the eBay account.
In message search, if you type the order number or the item type, or the buyer's nickname, it will immediately find the corresponding email with all the references.
Kind regards.

·3 years agoGood morning, I didn't understand how to search for items over 90. Do you know if it's possible to see items sold, for example, in the last year?

·3 years agoYou can see the items sold in the last two years, just go here:
Orders - Seller Console (ebay.it)
and from the drop-down menu "Period" select the one you want.
Kind regards.

·3 years agoYes, I meant the sales of a certain item by all eBay users. As far as I understand, it isn't possible, but it would be very useful.
Many thanks anyway for the reply

·3 years agoSo an item not sold by you... obviously impossible because of privacy.
Kind regards.
