Receipt of purchases with shipping (packages and couriers) Amazon
Summary: The discussion focused on the topic of receiving purchases with shipping through Amazon, specifically regarding packaging and couriers. Various participants, including rombar69, heavenwelkin, ram5oo, and mocer-75, contributed to the conversation, exchanging unspecified messages back and forth. The conversation included multiple exchanges but lacked specific content details in the provided data.
I’ve noticed that various purchases arrive in packages or boxes with the Amazon logo. I asked these sellers and they reassured me that they use Amazon couriers and some even have stock directly in Amazon warehouses. This seems to offer greater efficiencies.
I, for my personal ethics, do NOT intend to make any purchases on Amazon, so I will hardly continue buying through eBay and, when I am absolutely pushed into a corner, I will first ask the seller whether they use Amazon couriers or whether they have Amazon stock ... at that point I will surely make a more informed decision.
I have to admit that I’m quite bitter about this decline of eBay and Amazon’s monopolization, but little by little countermeasures will be taken and gradually the “broken” ones like me will become more and more marginalized 🙂
But wouldn’t it make sense to identify sellers even when they use Amazon for transporting or storing their products?
Bright regards
P.S. I don’t know whether the barcodes can be traced back to the buyer or the seller, but if it’s needed to put pressure on them I can provide everything needed or the original photo

·1 year agoAs a little side note, during the busiest shopping periods, even AliExpress (which offers delivery from China to your home in 10-12 days) relies on Amazon's courier. Some purchases made during the 11.11 period were delivered by Amazon's courier instead of the postal service (with no problems at all).

OP1 year agoMaybe, mocer-75, everyone has to reckon with their own ethics... imagine, there are even people who do business with or keep their bank account at institutions that finance companies that produce and sell weapons...
All the best to you 🙂
Bright greetings

·1 year agoDefinitely, the ugly, nasty weapons that make baby Jesus cry!
Just think how great it would be if we did as someone would hope, destruction of all weapons, except for one person smarter than everyone else who instead hides them in their own little room and brings them out after all the others have been destroyed.

Keeping to your own ethics shows great consistency and integrity. It is admirable to see people who follow their values, even when it means making sacrifices; giving something up to respect your principles requires courage and strength.
Your choices are an example of how personal values can guide us toward a better world.
Not everyone would have your determination.
Your decision shows that ethics matter more than convenience.
It is truly inspiring to see someone act according to their principles.
It is rare to find people so faithful to their values.
Your gesture is a concrete demonstration of how one can act for a fairer world.
Kind regards.

OP1 year agoThank you so much for your words,
Drips carve mountains, and I will carry my drip equipment with me.
I hope e-bay makes clear which suppliers rely on Amazon logistics or warehouses ... that would be a sign of transparency and would allow those choosing the product to have a clearer view of what they are choosing.
Radiant greetings

·1 year agoAmazon logistics has several PROs, I’ll tell you the ones that come to mind:
Packages are handled much less roughly
Shipping issues are fewer
Deliveries are also made on Saturdays
Amazon couriers are statistically more reliable
So a seller who already uses Amazon logistics will continue to use it because it’s the one that works best.
Then everyone is free to do what they want with their personal ethics.
Kind regards.

·1 year agoHi ram5oo
You’re right 👍
If we consider that a traditional courier charges an extra supplement to make a Saturday delivery.......
Kind regards

·1 year agolet's remember though that no one gives anything away for free, these are extra services whose cost gets passed on to the products...

·1 year agoI agree with you.
Buyers usually like Amazon because shipping is free with Prime or over 29 euros if I’m not mistaken.
Amazon charges for these services, since in terms of purchase prices it’s not among the cheapest suppliers.
But the whole package of services Amazon offers, from Sunday delivery to handling returns to warranty and extra warranty, makes up for the fact that the prices are not among the very lowest overall.
If you look for a product on trovaprezzi, Amazon will hardly be among the first results.
Then there are other types of buyers who are looking for the absolute lowest price and aren’t interested in Amazon’s services.

·1 year agoBasically, you asked the question and answered it yourself.
So you won't buy on Amazon or eBay, since that practice isn't prohibited and nothing can be done about it.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
