Do you know whether PayPal’s 3-installment payment option shows up in the payment methods when it’s offered for that item while you’re about to check out? Or is it only offered once you’re already at the final stage of payment (when you connect with PayPal and sometimes you have to enter the password; because oddly enough PayPay doesn’t always ask for the password)? The reason I’m asking is this:First of all, I’d like to be able to choose and decide before checking out whether to split the payment into installments. Second; I wouldn’t want another experience like the one I had with "Klarna" (unlike PayPal, they have the option to choose the payment method at the start). They initially approved my payment of 279.00 euros (in three installments of 93) for a lawn mower (I thought it would be more convenient to pay that way, especially since we’re in the holiday season), but then backed out and told me the amount to be paid was too high and asked me to make a lower purchase (even though the total amount was clearly shown on the same eBay page!). Have you ever had a similar experience? I haven’t!
