I’d like to ask for your opinion on how I should deal with a seller.

I bought a used UPS, sold as working and also confirmed as such by the seller via email.
When I received the item, I immediately noticed that the high-voltage connector was broken and a cable on pin 6 was loose; on the board there was a carbonized spot causing phase leakage and two components were damaged.
After informing the seller, he replied, surprised that he hadn’t noticed, and admitted that it had been returned to him from a previous sale as faulty.
Since I have an identical product (but a newer model), I went ahead and repaired it.
After I let the seller know I had fixed it, I wrote to him that we could exchange feedback (up to that point positive).
That evening I find an incomprehensible feedback from him.
He hints at a misunderstanding during hand delivery (when I received it by courier), and at an extortion-related misunderstanding on the buyer’s part.
Suspicious, I go into his feedback profile and read that he had received a neutral from a buyer for a pickup at the concierge desk. And it seems the concierge asked him for an unwarranted payment.
Basically, the seller instead of leaving feedback for this user, left it on my profile.
For two days I’ve been writing to him asking him to correct the comment, but he’s playing dumb.
What do you recommend?
(I had thought about replying to him on my own profile and then leaving him a neutral with an explanation)
