Hello everyone.I’m writing to share a situation that I find pretty frustrating and to see whether other sellers have found themselves in the same position.I’ve run an eBay account since 2008 with 100% positive feedback and a high volume of sales handled every month.Even so, I’m going to end up with the seller status “Below Standard” because of a few out-of-stock cancellations that occurred during the bad weather in Sicily, which caused significant delivery delays. We’re talking about 9 cancellations out of more than 500 orders in the evaluation period.What I don’t find fair is that, in all cases, the buyers were contacted first through eBay messaging, informed of the situation, and always replied without any issue, accepting the refund.There were no complaints, and no negative feedback.So I’m wondering: is it right that situations handled transparently and shared with the customer are treated the same as poor handling?Also, I find it limiting that the most recent performance (in my case dozens and dozens of defect-free sales) is not taken into account immediately in the calculation.I understand that the rules exist, but I think there’s a lack of proportionality and consideration of the real context.Has anyone had similar experiences? Were you able to resolve it or get the situation reviewed?Thanks to anyone who’d like to share their experience.
