eBay site subfolder with missing items
Summary: The discussion concerns a subfolder of the eBay site that contains missing items. 2015itilv mentions the issue without providing further details, and heavenwelkin responds, but no solution or further explanation is offered.
Hi everyone, I searched on the eBay site and this is what came up for me (I'm sending the link to point out the inconsistency):
However, if I search for the same item on Google Chrome I get results from various sites, and selecting the lowest one on eBay and opening the link I get this:
I would like to point out that the site is always ebay.it, but after the first slash in the first case it is /sch/ and in the second /itm/. When I open ebay in any browser, log in and do some searches I always get /sch/ and from there if I search with 'eBay item number' on the /itm/ site it tells me it doesn't exist.
Can anyone tell me why and what the differences are between the two 'sites'? You can also log in easily on the second one.
Thanks
Regards
Ilvo

The second link refers to the item number and works like this too:
https://www.ebay.it/itm/286198271556
itm is the abbreviation for item = In computing, the single piece of data or a set of data considered as a unit.
The first link, on the other hand, does not point to any item number but concerns a search link
sch = search
Best regards.
