Exactly. In german there are characters difficult to transcribe. For example the scarfes s or Umlaut. You have to push on the keyboard ALT plus 132 for Umlaut and ALT plus 225 for scharfes s. It's clear ?

Then remove the "special" character... or ask eBay Germany.
