THIEF seller and eBay that does nothing
The package never arrived. The shipment tracking says it all. It was not delivered to the recipient (me) and was returned by Italian Post to the sender (the seller). Who then sneakily claimed that an empty box was sent back to him (as if Italian Post opened the box, stole the shoes, and then shipped the package back to the sender.... come on. And the most outrageous thing is that eBay doesn't give a damn and doesn't intervene!!!! Shame!!

·1 year agoEbay simply didn't care because the tracking shows the shipment, the attempted delivery, and the return to sender.
Instead of accusing the seller of being a thief, why don't you think about the fact that it was your responsibility to check the tracking and where it indicated a problem... because there must have been one, a package doesn't go back to the sender for no reason... contact and ask the seller for help in time??
The feedback you left is outrageous... if you were the one who gave out the WRONG address, take responsibility for your actions!
It's always easy to blame others!
Good afternoon!

OP1 year agoI’ll clarify the matter a bit better.
Ok, the address was wrong. The street and house number are correct, but the city, Latina, was entered instead of Rome. Maybe there was autocomplete, I don’t know why we put Latina.
Anyway, the tracking is clear. Poste Italiane tried to deliver it, but since the address was wrong, they sent the package straight back to the sender-seller. And they, probably wrongly thinking that I had sent the package back, claimed that “I had sent back the empty box” ... so? a package ok but with an empty box inside? Too bad I didn’t send it back. It stayed with the shipper the whole time ... who supposedly opened the package, took the shoes and closed the package again ... well ... anything is possible, but if you ask me, very unlikely. And anyway, they have to deal with Poste Italiane themselves if there’s any problem with the package that left from their place and came back directly to them. Anyway, I don’t care what the seller claims. I care what eBay does to protect customers from scams ... namely nothing ...

·1 year agoYou entered the wrong address, and that is enough for eBay to rule against you!
There is no point in demanding protection if you make mistakes!
Have a good evening.

OP1 year agoYou didn't read the rest of the message ...
No, that's not enough.
PACKAGE NOT DELIVERED AND RETURNED TO SENDER = MONEY TO BE REFUNDED or RESEND PACKAGE
At most I should have simply repaid the shipping costs for the second shipment

·1 year agoIf the shoes were no longer there, what does it send back to you?
What does it return to you?
The item was not returned to the sender... so eBay can't help you.

OP1 year agoI repeat, the parcel was sent by him ... then Poste has always had it in hand ... and it was handed back to him.... but the box was empty without the shoes ... he says
He/she has to sort it out with Poste Italiane. Since he accuses them of having opened the parcel and taken the shoes ....
He has to give me my money back!!!!!

·1 year agoIf you had received the empty package (goods stolen in the outbound shipment), the responsibility for the loss of the goods would have been the seller's, and he would have had to refund you. You would not have accepted excuses.
If, because of your mistake, the package was left in storage and then was sent back, why shouldn't you be responsible for the loss of the goods?

·1 year agoFirst of all, it depends on what kind of requests you made: whether you followed the proper procedure or not.
Then it should also be said that if the address was wrong because of your mistake, the seller (and eBay too...) can do nothing about it.
And to top it all off, the defamatory feedback you left can be removed by eBay on its own initiative, and the seller could even take legal action (although I think he won't...).

·1 year agoHe made a mistake by putting the address: .... I made a mistake by putting the address, that's true .....
So he could only hope for the seller's courtesy ........ he could, not anymore now.

OP1 year agoobviously the first thing I did was politely ask the seller. But he/she stated that a empty box came back to them...without the shoes. But the package always remained with Poste Italiane. The tracking is clear. The package left the seller, Poste never delivered it because of the wrong address, and sent it back to the sender-seller.... (did the box get emptied during the trip? .... )
Anyway, the thing is crystal clear in the tracking. Package never delivered to me. Ebay should step in in cases like this ...

·1 year agoIf the seller had been serious and fair, they should have refunded you the cost of the item minus the shipping costs.
But the mistake was yours and the seller you met is a serious seller until the opportunity presents itself.
As they say: Opportunity makes the thief.
I'm sorry but if you had entered the correct address all this wouldn't have happened.
Next time be more careful when buying online because nowadays the procedures are all automated and in case of mistakes like yours there is no support that can help.
Kind regards.

OP1 year ago200 euros were stolen from me, ebay does nothing!!!!!! It keeps rejecting my requests....

·1 year agoYou did not specify the reason why the package was not delivered to the recipient.
If it says that it was sent back because the package was damaged, you can request a refund (through eBay).
If it was sent back due to address problems or because the recipient could not be found, there is nothing to do.

·1 year agoHi Mario, in the feedback posted (defamatory) there is talk of the wrong address.
