It’s almost impossible that ebay will backtrack. As I told you, the responsibility for what happened is not ebay’s. Customs took too long, and by contract ebay had to refund the buyer.
If the package arrived after the refund, the buyer should have returned the item to you at your expense. If he didn’t do that, then he committed a crime (embezzlement) and that’s the person you should take action against.
Contact a consumer association, maybe they can explain these things to you better.

Going back and rereading the story, it then becomes clear that ebay has nothing to do with it.
It had long customs problems both when leaving Italy and when entering Morocco; in the meantime, the buyer opened and won the dispute and was refunded well before the package arrived.
In these cases, for ebay, the story is closed. If you can't get possession of the goods again (at your own expense), you should file a report for embezzlement. Obviously given the non-EU customer .....
Hi Mario, it's true, I wrote that because the poster, despite being convinced that he was scammed by eBay, keeps posting in the community, as if the problem could be solved here, and he even got to the point of insults (banned).

Mentore3 years agoEbay doesn't cause any scam... it doesn't sell anything... it's just a storefront for sellers!
As answered in the other conversation, ebay can help you within 30 days of receiving your item.
But if you only write a few words without explaining what happened, it's hard to give you support...
