Is it fair to accept a return after 15 days?
Hello, after receiving the item, the buyer asked for a return in exchange for a refund even though more than 15 days have passed and I have received the payment. The item in the description is used, but despite this the buyer is not satisfied because they believe the item is visibly defective. Is it right to proceed with the refund?

Mentore3 years agoSeen from the buyer's side, I'd say yes. Is it the perfect, like-new one or the used one in excellent condition?
If he believes the item does not match the description (it only takes a tiny difference to be considered non-compliant with descriptions like these), he has 30 days to request a return. If eBay sides with him, you'll be forced to refund him (with return shipping at your expense or even without a return).
Try to minimize the damage, accept the return and buy a prepaid label to have the item sent back to you; as soon as you receive it, issue the refund.
After sorting out this situation, remember to switch to a professional account and to include your VAT number in every listing.
