Is it okay that I keep getting proposals for items I'm not interested in?

I’d like to know whether others find it annoying that anyone can flood me with offers for items I didn’t put in the "my eBay" board simply because I entered by mistake or to browse.

I find this practice very obnoxious and shameful.
