Is it possible to pay customs duties upon delivery?
Can you choose to pay customs duties upon delivery? Previously, it was always standard to pay import fees at the time of delivery or release. But now the estimated customs charges also appear in the total of my cart, to be paid in advance...

Mentore3 years agoIt depends on the type of shipping offered by the seller.
If it comes from the UK or USA and is part of the GSP program, import fees are paid in advance.

OP3 years agoHi Mario, thanks for the reply.
Yes, in fact it’s from the UK, but months ago it was still possible to pay the exact amount once it arrived. As far as you know, with this new GSP program will you always pay an estimate in advance?

Mentore3 years agoThe GSP program has existed for many years; it is not mandatory but only one of the services made available by a freight forwarder partnered with ebay. Not all UK sellers use it. So even today there are listings from the UK with shipping via GSP and others with regular couriers.
