I sold my camera on ebay last week for 900 euros. The camera, incidentally, that I bought on ebay a few years ago with the receipt. The sale went through fine, my buyer received the camera, everything perfect. But the problem is that EBAY IS NOT PAYING ME the money received from the buyer, that is, 900 euros. After I had already shipped the camera, I received a message that my account had been placed under restrictions. I contacted customer support, and I was initially told that they didn’t have to tell me the reasons. After so much persistence, I managed to get the information that the account had been blocked because my family and I used the same cell phone for our two separate accounts. I apologized, because I didn’t know that was forbidden, and I bought a new SIM card, and I changed the number on Ebay for my account. But NOTHING TO DO. The situation only got worse. They send me messages saying that my account is blocked with no possibility of appeal and that I DO NOT RECEIVE the money from my sale UNTIL THE ACCOUNT IS UNBLOCKED (practically, never?..) I just wanted to warn the community that this very bad experience of having GIVEN AWAY 900 EUROS to Ebay was very painful, I feel cheated and humiliated. I wouldn’t wish anyone to have to deal with this platform. Truly, they rip you off without any shame. SHAMEFUL.
