In December I received a payment from eBay for an item that was no longer available refunded
In December I received a payment from ebay for an item no longer available, an amount I returned on the 21st of December. I informed customer service and called, but to no avail: ebay withdrew the sum of 30 or 36 euros from my account, which it has to pay me back.

Mentore2 years agoI mean... let us understand... you would have refunded the bank transfer that ebay made to you for your sale, also via bank transfer?
Why did you do this stupid thing?
For the refund of an item, if you didn't have funds in your account, ebay would have taken care of withdrawing the money either from your bank account or from the payment method you entered.
I’m afraid those money are really lost... only support "can" give you a hand, also because it’s not ebay that handles the money but external companies.
Good luck!

OP2 years agoActually, they told me to try to cancel the refund I made through Fineco bank from the bank itself, but the bank told me that it's not possible. Ebay has taken possession of the amount, which will not be returned.

Mentore2 years agoIt wasn't ebay that appropriated the sum, but you who “threw” it away.

Mentore2 years agoWhat are you writing!!
You're the one who messed up... what does ebay have to do with it??
Unthinkable to "return" an ebay bank transfer... but unfortunately there are those who thought of it... and then complain about having done it!
