We've hit rock bottom
Good morning,
usually I try to avoid these things, but I think we’re really getting to the bottom of it.
On December 3 (yesterday), the buyer playpatty (after having bought a comic for eur 2.99 and choosing an untracked shipping option on November 12) sent me a message via eBay saying (exact words):
"Good evening, it’s December 3 and I still haven’t received anything"
I told them to wait until next Monday (December 9) and, if nothing had arrived by then, to open a claim through eBay (so that they would get a refund of the amount paid and I would get a refund of the fees).
Result: on December 4 they opened an eBay dispute writing (exact words):
"Goods not received. The Seller responds in an unacceptable manner, indicating to open a dispute during the following week, after the delivery terms have long passed. He is essentially showing an unacceptable lack of concern, completely contrary to the spirit of the eBay community. My wife, a lawyer, is reporting it to the locally competent police, since a seller should take action with a claim against the carrier instead of dumping the whole matter on the platform and remaining completely unpunished"
Logically, I immediately refunded and blocked the user.
My question is: are some people born this way, or do they become like this over time?

it's hard to answer the question...
Anyway, this experience also teaches us never to use untracked shipping... especially if requested by the buyer!!

OP1 year agoThe problem isn’t the refund request. Untraceable shipping is only accepted for a maximum product value of 3 euros. In a year I get 3/4 refund requests against 100/120 sales. That’s not a problem for me. What makes me laugh the most is the extra comment he writes in the refund request and especially the phrase: My wife, a lawyer, will report it to the competent local police

Mentore1 year agoUnfortunately they say that "every head is a little world"... figuring out the meaning of that phrase would be impossible... but on top of that, he only made himself ridiculous, since he got the refund anyway without those unfortunate remarks.
