accept proposal
Good morning, I made an offer to a Ukrainian seller and he accepted it for $150, but on the payment form the amount is $183. The seller says these are import fees that I haven't seen written anywhere and that they are required by the Italian state. If you buy in the UK or the United States, it is clearly stated that there are fees. Is the seller trying to be sneaky?
Thanks to anyone who helps me

Mentore3 years agoUkraine is not part of the European community... so you have to pay VAT!
Also remember that upon delivery you will have to pay more, namely customs duties, customs charges and the carrier's fees!
These are simply things that anyone importing to Italy MUST know... of course you won't find it written anywhere because they are things you need to know and as for the United States and the United Kingdom, you will find the amount of import charges ONLY if you use GSP (Global Shipping Program).
Kind regards.
