Good morning. on 2/03/2024 I open a new eBay account to start selling some items I had acquired over time.it's electrical material, new or at least new but with damaged or opened boxing.so far so good.I post the first listing, 1 item priced at €900, which sells in record time.Feeling good about the situation, I decide to post more listings: the first for 70 pieces at a total cost of €1400, the second 10 pieces for a total of €400, the third five pieces for €350.For a SALES value of about €3000 I get organized to ship my first sale through eBay, download the label, prepare the package.the next day I receive an email saying that my account is subject to restrictions. They ask me for a copy of my tax documents, which I had already uploaded to eBay, and the origin of the goods. But since I’m a private individual, and since everything was acquired over time, I didn’t have any purchase invoices; they were all items I had recovered over time.Not knowing whether or not to ship the package for my sale, I get customer support to contact me. I explain the situation, they reassure me and manually unlock the account. My listings go active again, so I ask them directly whether to ship or not, given the restriction in place.They reassure me, unlock everything, and tell me to ship the package so I don’t incur penalties for not completing the sale.At the same time I ask for explanations, they tell me nothing, and I ask if, being a private seller, I may have somehow exceeded certain limits. Negative answer, up to around €6500 if I remember correctly, I shouldn’t have had any problems.Once I shipped it, the following morning I find my account permanently blocked, with the sale balance blocked for at least 170 days, pending review.Support is useless, since they can’t provide any information. They issue no statement, they don’t say the reason. But what am I supposed to do?Honestly at this point, given what happened, I don’t care much about losing the account, but I’m not willing to lose the money, also because otherwise the night before, on support’s advice, I wouldn’t have shipped it!!!! The only doubt I have is that something may have caused problems, namely the bank account certification, requested by eBay again and again. I entered the N26 IBAN, it accepted it, and punctually a few days later it asked me to certify the account.I was waiting to finish setting up another account to associate a Credit Agricole account. All this is truly absurd and unacceptable. You can’t just dismiss a seller by saying they didn’t comply with one of eBay’s terms of use, but at least tell me which one. How do I proceed?
