LIMITED ACCOUNT
Summary: 234m62 is expressing frustration over a drastic decision made by eBay to limit their account after selling digital services. Despite having positive feedback, a dispute over a non-received product led to their account being blocked and funds being held. They are seeking advice on what steps to take next, as their attempts to contact eBay have been unsuccessful.
Hi, I'm talking about a drastic decision that was made on my eBay account. Basically, I had put some digital services up for sale that I had seen others selling too, so I thought it was allowed. I received many positive feedbacks until one user sent me a claim for item not received even though I had sent it as I always had. Because of this, eBay started flagging me until it actually blocked me and prevented me from selling, while in the meantime I was getting other orders that I shipped. Now I find myself with funds frozen and a limited account. I don't know what to do, I've already contacted them but nothing. Because of a stupid, even false, dispute, ending up with the account unusable is insane. What should I do now?

Mentore1 week agoGiven the difficulty in being able to check the actual rights to sell, on eBay only sellers who are expressly accredited and authorized can sell digital content.
Items delivered in digital format must be listed in ad format in the category Other > Informational Products: If the ad format is not available on the seller's eBay site, items delivered in digital format are not allowed

If you do it as an unauthorized seller, by putting in a fake shipment, you expose yourself to the consequences provided for by the platform.
