ACCOUNT SUSPENDED WITHOUT ANY FAULT
HELLO MY ACCOUNT WAS SUSPENDED WITHOUT A VALID REASON AND IT'S ALREADY BEEN SOME TIME THAT I HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO PROVE THAT I DID NOTHING , THEY ASSOCATED ME WITH ANOTHER ACCOUNT WITH A DIFFERENT VAT NUMBER AND ADDRESS ... SIMPLY I WAS ASSOCIATED WITH THAT ACCOUNT BECAUSE WHEN I STARTED USING EBAY I MADE A PAYMENT WITH THIS PERSON'S PAYPAL WHO WAS THE ONE WHO TAUGHT ME TO USE EBAY ... AFTER THAT I WENT MY OWN WAY WITHOUT EVER DOING ANYTHING WRONG NOT HAVING ANY RELATIONSHIP WITH THE OWNER OF THE ACCOUNT IN QUESTION AND THE FACTS PROVE IT .... I WOULD KINDLY ASK SOMEONE TO HELP ME GET BACK IN AND TRY TO PROVE THAT I AM A DECENT PERSON .

Mentore3 years agoIf you have shared the same IP address (same PC or connection), the same account or the same address (to be specific about the or, meaning just one of these possibilities is enough), eBay considers you one as being linked to the other.
eBay has its own control methods; if it sees you as a risk and no longer wants to deal with you .... all you can do is resign yourself to it. It’s also pointless to try opening other accounts, they’ll all suffer the same fate.
It’s also pointless to try to prove your innocence; eBay is a private company. If you don’t meet its parameters, no one can force it to let you back in.

OP3 years agothey definitely linked me to that account for a simple payment I made when I didn't even have PayPal yet ... they’re pretty drastic though ..

Mentore3 years agoThe correlation of the two accounts is justified by the use of the same Paypal email address used for payment.
Ebay unfortunately doesn't make exceptions... in order to be reinstated, your friend would need to resolve the issues with his account.
