Lying buyer
Good morning everyone, after 11 years of buying and selling on eBay, I ran into a situation that’s unbelievable. I sold a lot of records with all the details and the list; first the buyer tried to make me an offer outside of eBay, asking me to complete the deal outside the system. I replied no. After a couple of days the payment came through, I shipped the item, and up to that point everything was fine. But what’s absurd is that the same buyer, who earlier sent me a message asking if I could give him a discount because out of the list of records for sale he was only interested in a few, as soon as he received the package left me negative feedback, making up that what he had received did not match the listing, and opened a refund request when the listing clearly stated that returns were not accepted. But the absurd thing is that he posted photos that did not match what I had sent him. How should I handle this, in your opinion?

Mentore2 years agoGood morning,
so in 11 years things have gone more than well for you!
If they have opened a return request for an item not as described, you can’t refuse it and you’ve got very little to think about:
Kind regards.
