Buyer says they received an item I didn't send

Good morning, I’m writing to you because I find myself in a situation that I don’t know how to get out of.
Last week I sold a used item (a night vision device, a monocular) worth 150 euros. The package was prepared and packed well, and arrived after 3 working days. The seller sends me a photo of an item I have never seen (a binocular that has nothing to do with what I shipped him) and opens a dispute. After several exchanges with the said buyer (always provocative and uncooperative, especially when, on the suggestion of an eBay assistant, I’m asked how the package looks, the packaging, etc., as if to suggest even a possible theft in the post) eBay closes the case, ruling in favor of the buyer, who will be able to return the item to me in exchange for a full refund.
The problem is that it is not what I sold him, I never sold or had what he claims, and refunding him without getting back what I sold him I find wrong, I feel scammed and not protected by eBay. What could I do? Besides losing the product, I end up with zero trust for the future as well, since I have feedback of over 300 and in more than 15 years I have never had problems.
Thanks
Regards
