Good morning everyone,I have a problem with a buyer and I’d like some advice.His package was delayed, so he opened a request with eBay support for “item not received.” When I spoke with him (the package had not arrived yet), I explained that the delay was the courier’s fault and that there was nothing I could do about it. I told him to wait until June 18 and that if it still hadn’t arrived, he could go ahead and open the request with eBay support. But he opened the request before the 18th.The package then arrived on June 18, so in any case it was 4 days late compared to the expected delivery date. Since we had already talked and everything had been clarified, I didn’t write anything in the request opened with eBay. Just to be safe, I still asked him to confirm delivery: he said yes, but then he started claiming that the item would be used, which is absolutely false.The problem is that even though he confirmed receipt, he still hasn’t closed the request made with eBay support, so my money is tied up.If a different or damaged item had actually arrived, I would understand a return, but making an accusation like that about an item that was not used, after already confirming that everything was fine, seems to me like nothing more than an attempt to take advantage.
