Swiss buyer
Good evening,
a Swiss buyer interested in one of my items for sale (with many positive feedbacks) says that to sell and ship to him I would need to issue an invoice with any discount and expenses.
I have used eBay only once, but I thought it was enough to complete the purchase, accept the offer, and follow all the guided steps.
Can someone help me?

you are a private individual, so you cannot issue any invoice.
Being Swiss, he will most likely see the price increased by VAT... but that's his problem.
If he's really interested, it's enough for him to make you an offer, or he can click Buy It Now.

Mentore2 years agoIf there is a sale to a country outside the EU, the private individual must also issue a document that is improperly called an invoice. It is a declaration of the value of the item, on which Swiss customs will then apply its taxes. Anyway, there are a template and instructions for filling it out on Paclink.

Mentore2 years agoIf you haven’t specified shipping costs for Switzerland, you have to send them a pro forma invoice....
Then you need to attach a commercial invoice to the package, which is required for customs.
You can find these instructions on the websites of all couriers, including the postal service. Or you can follow the shipping manager guide from eBay (Packlink).
