Hello, I have a problem with a US buyer who bought a lot of VHS tapes from me, obviously all Italian and in PAL format. After he received them (by the way, the shipping turned out to be even more expensive than I had entered, and in that case too I had to pay 12 euros out of my own pocket), he complains that the VHS tapes do not play on his video recorder (and that is obvious, US players were set up only to read VHS tapes in NTSC format! but he didn’t know this and by his own admission he thought they could be watched). As a result, in recent days he opened a return request claiming that the VHS tapes are defective.Now, given that first of all the VHS tapes were almost all sealed and he opened them, so in fact they are no longer even sealed as I sent them to him, I do not accept paying the return shipping costs either (which are about 38 euros) which should be entirely on me... only to refund him in full, so not only would the VHS tapes not come back to me in the same condition but I would also lose a total of about 50 euros from this transaction.He says that eBay has its rules and I am obliged to take the lot back, but I do not intend to pay for the return. I offered him a partial refund and he refused. What else can I do? Thanks
